Following a road of yellow sand, it is a vast area formed by sand and salt marsh vegetation. The beach has smooth, wet sand, the sea is rough with colors ranging from blue and green. There is no tourist infrastructure in place because it is a biological reserve, where there is a base of the Tamar Project. It is an open area for research and conservation of endangered species, sandbank and the Atlantic Forest. The visits are scheduled based and made with authorization from IBAMA for the display of tanks, aquariums and showrooms.
